A Sterling Silver Double Gallery Satin Finish Ring inlaid with Wild Scottish Wych Elm Burr Wood and set with three 3mm Tanzanite stones in a Silver tube setting. A beautiful fully handcrafted 2mm thick Sterling Band 8mm wide. The wood elements are sealed with three coats of Birchwood Casey Gunstock Oil. Waterproof for short exposure but not recommended to soak in a bath for example. It is not possible to resize these rings due to the method of construction. The Size is of this particular ring is a UK 'S’ (US 9). Suitable for both men and ladies. Hallmarked in Sheffield. Tanzanite is only found in Tanzania, in a very small mining area (approximately 7 km (4.3 mi) long and 2 km (1.2 mi) wide)[4] near the Mirerani Hills. It is predicted that as supplies decline that its value will rival that of diamonds and possibly beyond. This gemstone ring will make a colourful addition to your jewellery collection. December birthdays lay claim to three birthstones one of which is Tanzanite so would make a wonderful gift if you're looking for a thoughtful present for someone born in that month! Wood inlay rings are notoriously challenging and time consuming to make by hand so are not common in a pure handcrafted form. This piece is individually handcrafted for you by Andy in his Sheffield studio.
